Much has been said in the last 12 months, about the Global Financial Crisis (GFC)... everybody's been tightening their belts, making lunches at home to take to work and renting DVDs to watch at home instead of eating out and going to the movies respectively.
So this is my foray, to add my two cents to all the comments that have been going around. Initially, I wanted the blog to be called "Save Money", but I suppose somebody else has already picked that, as well as "Bang for your Buck" and one other name, which I can't remember now. Tried "Bigger Bang for your Buck" ... and tadaa!!! Here it is. Blogspot doesn't just tell you if it's available, they give it to you straight away! Ah well... guess I'll have to stick to the theme then, but I'm likely to add other slightly off-tangent bits and pieces along the way.
Also, as I am based in Melbourne, a lot of my ideas may be more relevant to life in Melbourne and perhaps may be extended to around Australia. But I will try to keep it interesting. :)
